Home Lifts
Compact lifts for private residences: smaller shafts, shallower pits and lower speeds than a commercial car, so they can be added to a villa or multi-storey home without rebuilding the core. A 450 kg machine-room-less unit needs roughly a 1650 x 1750 mm shaft and a 1500 mm pit, which is why it is often retrofitted into a stairwell void. Frequently specified with a glass car so the shaft still reads as open.
