Passenger Elevators
Machine-room and machine-room-less passenger lifts from 450 kg (6 persons) to 1600 kg (21 persons), running at 1.0, 1.5, 1.75, 2.0 or 2.5 m/s. The shaft, pit and headroom have to be fixed at structural design stage, not after the core is cast — a 450 kg car needs a 1650 x 1750 mm hoistway, 1500-1800 mm pit and 4500-4800 mm overhead, while a 1600 kg car needs 2750 x 2300 mm. Send us the rise, the floors served and the expected traffic and we will size it before your engineer details the shaft.
